Geolocation Access

Geolocation refers to the geographical (latitudinal and longitudinal) location of an Internet-connected device. Some high-stakes assessment require this information.

Mozilla Firefox:

Open Mozilla Firefox.

Click the three horizontal lines icon in the top-right corner to open the menu.

Select "Options."

In the left menu, choose "Privacy & Security."

Scroll down to the "Permissions" section and look for "Location."

Click "Settings" next to "Access Your Location."

Enable the option "Allow websites to access your location."

 

Safari:

Open Safari.

In the menu bar, select "Safari" and then "Preferences."

Go to the "Websites" tab.

In the left panel, choose "Location."

In the list of websites, select the one you want to configure.

From the dropdown menu next to the website, select "Allow."

 

Microsoft Edge:

Open Microsoft Edge.

Click the three horizontal dots icon in the top-right corner to open the menu.

Select "Settings."

In the left panel, choose "Privacy, search, and services."

Scroll down and select "Site permissions."

Under "Location," enable the option "Allow sites to access your location."

 

Chrome:

Open Chrome .
At the top right, click More. Settings.
Click Privacy and security. Site Settings.
Click Location.
Choose "Sites can ask for your location"
