You will select Share this credential if you wish to post your credential on a social media site, send it to someone in an email, or hyperlink it on your resume. Clicking this link will open your sharing settings on your phone which should allow you to select the relevant application.

If you select Add to Linkedin Profile the application will require you to authenticate your Linkedin account via the mobile app. Then it will post a credential to your profile. The information will automatically populate from the badge details.

You can also obtain a verifiable version of the credential to use with a third party applications in the form of a link or a downloaded image. Select the format (either Open Badge 3.0 or CLR 2.0) based on what the application is requesting.

Select Get JSON Url when you want to generate a link that needs to be put into a validation tool to verify the credential. You might also use this link if another digital wallet allows you to import credentials by importing the JSON code. After clicking this button, a link will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click Copy to add the link to your clipboard so you can use it elsewhere.

Select download image when you need to move your credential to another vendor’s wallet application. This image is generated as a "baked image" which means there is metadata embedded that includes all of the information about your credential inside the image itself.

Be careful with posting these images online because the data will be visible to whoever downloads the file. We recommend using the "share this credential" link for any distribution on a social network, email, or text.
